Certified in BRL 6010 Legionella Management

Delmeco Consulting and Engineering Agency is officially certified by KIWA in accordance with BRL 6010 (assessment guideline for Legionella prevention advice for collective drinking water installations) and the associated standards ISSO-55.1 (priority installations) and ISSO-55.2 (non-priority installations).

Within the province of Zeeland, Delmeco is one of the few companies certified to carry out Legionella inspections in accordance with BRL 6010. Our office in Goes has independent certified inspectors.

NEN-EN 1090-1 – Ensuring Quality in Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium

Delmeco Consulting and Engineering Agency is proudly certified according to the NEN-EN 1090-1 standard, up to Execution Class 3 (EXC 3), for steel, stainless steel (RVS), and aluminium structures. This certification enables us to design and produce high-quality, CE-marked structural components.

What does NEN-EN 1090-1 involve?

NEN-EN 1090-1 is a European standard that is mandatory for all companies placing load-bearing steel or aluminium structures on the market within the European Union. The standard defines the conditions for applying CE marking to structural products. Among other things, it requires:

  • A fully functioning Factory Production Control (FPC) system

  • Demonstrable control of production and welding processes

  • Traceability of materials and components

  • Quality control and final inspections in accordance with defined procedures

  • Compliance with technical execution standards (EN 1090-2 for steel, EN 1090-3 for aluminium)

  • Execution Class 3 (EXC 3) for steel, stainless steel, and aluminium

With our EXC 3 certification, we are authorised to deliver structures with a high safety or risk profile for steel, stainless steel (RVS), and aluminium.

This execution class imposes strict requirements on design, material usage, welding procedures, and final inspections—areas in which Delmeco is both certified and highly experienced.

CE Marking and European Conformity

Thanks to our EXC 3 certification for stainless steel and aluminium, we are permitted to apply CE marking to our products, demonstrating compliance with European regulations.
