Delmeco provided advisory and engineering services for the realisation of a gaseous fire suppression system in an MCC room (total flooding system).
For the fire safety discipline, the scope of work included the following activities:

Defining the gaseous fire suppression system in a technical description / specification

Requesting quotations

Evaluating quotations and preparing the investment budget

Assisting with the tendering process

Coordinating and reviewing design drawings and calculations

Coordination with the client and KIWA R2B

Verifying the dimensions of control cabinets and the openness of the cabinets

Coordinating items related to the initial inspection and final completion
Delmeco’s responsibility within this project covered the entire process from the design phase through to tender readiness, as well as project management of the execution phase up to and including final handover.
In addition, Delmeco provides the annual maintenance and certification programmes for the gaseous fire suppression systems. This includes the following activities:

Preparing an annual planning and daily schedule

Coordinating the inspection body and the installer

Arranging corrective actions for inspection findings, where applicable

Ensuring proper management and archiving of maintenance and inspection documentation
