Delmeco Consulting and Engineering Agency provides advice, design, drafting, calculations, and inspections for installations in the fields of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), sanitation, and related building services.

Installations in schools, offices, healthcare facilities, leisure environments, and retail spaces play an increasingly important role in the performance and sustainability of buildings. This is driven by changing regulations, higher comfort requirements, the Climate Agreement, and rising energy costs.

 

Our activities in the field of HVAC

For various clients, Delmeco Consulting and Engineering Agency performs a wide range of activities within the HVAC discipline, including:

Investigating complaints

Our investigations focus on identifying and resolving comfort and performance issues in installations. These include:

  • Temperature, humidity, airflow, and pressure measurements

  • Inspections using a thermal imaging camera (thermography)

  • Mapping of existing installations

  • Providing targeted advice to resolve identified issues

Design, calculation, and drafting

Delmeco designs and calculates installations for a wide variety of buildings, including:

  • Schools and healthcare facilities

  • Hotels and offices

  • Government buildings

  • Retail and leisure locations

We use both 2D and 3D modelling, taking into account energy efficiency, comfort, maintenance, and legal requirements.

Inspections and consultancy

We perform various types of inspections, including:

  • Legionella inspections, carried out in accordance with BRL 6010 and the regulations stated in ISSO 55

  • Inspections focused on energy savings and efficient use of installations

  • Comfort inspections, focusing on indoor climate and user satisfaction

  • Inspections related to the Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving (Bbl) – the successor to the Building Decree 2012

In addition, we provide:

  • Consultancy and support during the preparation and execution of projects

  • Project management and construction supervision during the implementation of technical installations

Sustainability and innovation

Delmeco follows current developments in laws and regulations, including the BENG requirements (Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings) and the sustainability objectives of the Climate Agreement.
We provide advice on innovative solutions in the areas of energy efficiency, heat pumps, heat recovery, low-temperature heating systems (LTV), and the integration of building management systems for monitoring and optimisation.

Delmeco carries out HVAC-related activities for a wide range of clients, including various municipalities, Koninklijke Schelde Groep, Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, Amels, Technico Installatietechniek, Nutricia, Primark, Orionis Walcheren, Lovago / Funtastic, Scalda, Roompot, Jumbo, and several multifunctional centres (MFCs).
HVAC designs and inspections have also been performed for churches and other community real estate projects.
