Baseline inspections and condition assessments
For various clients, we carry out baseline inspections to record the existing situation as a starting point for projects. In addition, we perform condition assessments in accordance with NEN 2767, in which installations and systems are evaluated in terms of quality, maintainability and safety.
Our inspections cover a broad range of installations, including:
- Power supply systems such as low- and medium-voltage distribution boards, emergency power supplies, UPS systems and generators
- Lighting and emergency lighting (including public lighting and speed monitoring systems)
- Security and fire safety installations, including fire detection and evacuation systems
- Ventilation and air handling systems
- Communication and control systems such as CCTV, intercoms, radar, VHF radio, telephone and data networks
- Traffic management systems (CO/SOS/matrix systems)
- Mechanical installations such as drive systems, slide gates and air bubble screens
As-built documentation and asset management
Up-to-date and accurate documentation of civil structures is essential. Delmeco supports clients in mapping assets, reviewing existing information and preparing complete as-built drawing packages in, among others, EPLAN and AutoCAD. For large-scale asset projects, we have provided project management, drafting and verification activities, photo reports and the delivery of complete asset information. This gives asset managers a reliable basis for operation and maintenance.
Reporting and consultancy
All findings are recorded in clear reports in accordance with the client’s guidelines. We have extensive experience with reporting in line with Rijkswaterstaat standards, including advice and recommendations for maintenance, replacement and risk management.

- Inspections of lock complexes in Hansweert, Terneuzen, Kreekrak and Krammer
- Baseline and condition inspections of bridge complexes such as Sluiskil, Sas van Gent and the Vlakebrug
- Condition inspections of tunnels including the Wijkertunnel, Schipholtunnel and Zeeburgertunnel
- Investigation and maintenance of installations at the Oosterscheldekering, the Topshuis and various pumping stations and aqueducts in South Holland
We carried out these activities on behalf of, among others, Rijkswaterstaat Zeeland, Rijkswaterstaat South Holland, Rijkswaterstaat North Holland and Bakker Sliedrecht.
