The primary responsibilities of the Electrical Installation Responsible Person are maintaining and managing the electrical installation. Maintenance includes determining the required maintenance activities, assessing whether the electrical installation remains compliant when there are changes in use or operating conditions, and evaluating the results of performed inspections.
The management of low-voltage and high-voltage installations includes:

Establishing and managing an access control system for areas with electrical hazards

Defining procedures for the operation of the electrical installation

Approving plans for the execution of works

Assessing whether operational conditions allow all parts of the electrical installation to be made voltage-free for maintenance or other works
